1 /5 Danielle Yoskovich: *Not lgbt friendly jeweler*
*I saw the response from the owner - I am, in fact, a real person, who experienced homophobia (and possible racism as my partner is a person of color) from the employee at the store. I do not have the time nor energy to be scamming people. I simply want other queer people to know our experience here.
My partner and I decided to visit this store to try on engagement rings because it had such rave reviews about customer service. We walked in and were really excited. I’m not sure of the name of the person who came to assist us (it was a woman), but we politely asked to be sized for rings and then try a few on to see what we liked. The employee’s demeanor was almost cold and it was evident that she was uncomfortable with the fact that we were not a heterosexual couple. We felt rushed and unwelcome to continue asking to try more on because she seemed unwilling to help us. We thanked her for every single ring she pulled out of the display and were nothing but kind to her, but did not receive even a fraction of the same kindness in return. While the selection was beautiful, I would not recommend this store.
