1 /5 jarvis marshall: I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Progressive Insurance. They blatantly lied and falsely claimed that I signed up for their Snapshot program, which I never agreed to or authorized. Despite explaining this multiple times, both the customer service representative and the manager refused to listen or acknowledge my concerns. It’s clear that customer service isn’t valued at all — I felt dismissed, ignored, and outright brushed aside. Their entire approach feels like a complete disregard for their clients’ needs and honesty. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience, forcing me to start the difficult and time-consuming process of finding a new insurance provider. The lack of accountability and transparency from Progressive has left me feeling frustrated and betrayed. It’s obvious that there’s some level of collusion or at least a systemic failure within their team, given how everyone seems to give the same dismissive attitude. I would strongly warn others to stay far away from Progressive Insurance, as they cannot be trusted and their customer service is utterly unhelpful. I am giving them zero stars for this experience — they have truly lost my trust and respect.

1 /5 Setayesh Yavari: I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Progressive regarding a crack in my windshield, and I can honestly say it was the worst customer service experience Ive ever had! When I reached out to use my insurance for a windshield replacement, I was treated so poorly that I ended up paying for it out of pocket rather than dealing with them any longer. They made me feel like a criminal, as if I were trying to scam them instead of simply making a legitimate claim. The attitude I received was condescending, and it was clear they had no intention of helping me resolve my issue. Its unacceptable that an insurance company can treat its customers this way, especially when were just trying to get the coverage weve paid for.

1 /5 Logan Robertson: My policy was cancelled without my authorization in the middle of the night. Then I was further told that I couldn’t get it reinstated because the policy had lapsed and underwriting wasn’t available. Following, progressive raised my premium due to the 24hour lapse in coverage stating that they didn’t receive word back from me regarding “re-verifying” the exact same information that they had on file in which they made me wait two weeks before issuing me a policy. Additionally, the policy was paid and when I asked when I would receive a refund, they told me they didn’t know. I am extremely dissatisfied and feel as if progressive in Baton Rouge is a scam. They enroll you in an extremely high policy, mine is $300 for 1 vehicle with no accidents and 0 tickets, and no UIM coverage with a $2k deductible. Absolutely horrendous. I would not recommend Progressive to anyone in Baton Rouge. Especially after being told there was no remedy to my situation and no further preventative measures that could be taken to prevent this in the future. 0/10

1 /5 Bob z: I would have chosen zero or negative if possible. It has been over two months since our roof was damaged by wind, and Progressive’s service has been horrendous. Despite initially promising to replace the damaged slope, there has been no progress or communication for the past two weeks. The delay has severely impacted our ability to work from home, and the rainy weather is making the situation worse. Progressive is terrible. Even if their rates are cheaper, I advise everyone to stay away to avoid a similarly awful experience.
