1 /5 Caleb L: Had an earring backing replaced for $60. The second time I wore the earrings the exact same backing broke in the same spot. There was also major tarnishing on the earring itself. The front desk man with glasses told me he offered no guarantee on the jewelers work and that “silver just breaks.” When I asked him to repair it again he said he would for another $85 and no guarantee on the work. On top of that, the work would take 3-4 weeks to get done. He was very condescending and rude the entire conversation and when I tried to get him to explain why the repair his shop made broke so easily he became irate and asked me to leave the store. When I told him I would be leaving a review he said in response he would “be leaving a review for me too,” referring to my company uniform I was wearing at the time. A service company which he does not use. Extremely unprofessional and hostile environment that has ripped me off on two occasions now and tries to over charge every single service or piece of jewelry they provide. I strongly recommend shopping at any other jewelry store. The photos I included were of the earrings they “repaired.” The one I had them fix several months ago broke immediately after only wearing twice, and is tarnished on the front from however they were handling it.

5 /5 Pat Monroe: I brought a coin I had from the shipwreck of the Spanish galleon, El Cazador that sunk off the coast of Louisiana in 1784. It was set in a bracelet that broke and decided that I would like it to be able to wear it on a necklace. I also had some loose rubies and diamonds. LaRo Jewelers were able to create a beautiful pendant to hang on a necklace. The craftsmanship and expertise created this beautiful piece. I am over the moon! It looks so special. And I can also wear it with a silver necklace!

1 /5 Caroline Willis: absolutely horrible! Would give zero stars if it would post that way. I took my Rolex in because it seemed slow. The very rude man at the store barely looked at it and determined that it needed a repair that would be a minimum of $800. This was just by holding the watch. I took it to Brown & Company which is a much nicer store within 2 miles of Laro. They looked at it for 2 minutes and determined it just needed to be wound. They did so and cleaned it for no charge. The man who works at Laro is totally looking to rip you off. Avoid at all cost.

5 /5 Mari Shiukashvili: I definitely recommend this place! The stone in my wedding band fell out and I needed to fix it. My wedding band is a comfort fit so it needs a little extra effort to secure the stone in it. The people at LaRos were very attentive, gave me great solutions and did an amazing job on my ring. It looks better than it originally did! I recommend you to have some pictures as an example to avoid misunderstandings. Spend some time to really explain well what you exactly want and once they know it, be sure that theyll do a great job.

1 /5 Nicole: Like the previous customer the customer service , particularly “the man with glasses “ is very unpleasant and clearly doesn’t value his line of servicing! The pricing of repairs were exorbitant ,not to mention the quality is botched! The hours on the door are for display, I attempted to pick up my jewelry from the store several times during open hours only for the store to be closed. My pairs were simply but took 3-4 weeks to complete, which is cool if my jewelry was actually repaired. My bracelets were “repaired “mediocre at best. I patronize this local business because it’s in my neighborhood and wanted to show support. This mediocre ,rude ,inconsiderate, service cost me $200 and I will highly not recommend this company to anyone. Support another company because clearly LaRo jewelry is just for show. 0/10 I would highly NOT RECOMMEND!!
