2 /5 DJ Stenger: The insurance company that this agent gave us a quote on for our house insurance, raised the price on me while it was still a valid quote AFTER I told the agent yes to their quote by phone. That was and is just wrong to me and should be illegal as Fraud. I kept searching for a better quote elsewhere and went with a more *reputable* insurance company with a different agent and it turned out to be cheaper and with lower deductibles too. Someone is looking out for us.

Roberta has always been the most helpful and responsive to emails. Shes always helped me get the best rates. I also use Southern Group for my homeowners insurance. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Brandon Brown: I contacted southern group to ensure the best insurance at the best rate. While the rate might have been better the service has been terrible. I had to call a number of times to get my quote for homeowners insurance. After signing docs for insurance and closing my home. I received a call 100 days after closing from the agent Yulissa that I had been dropped due to none payment. Turns out they never cashed the check the lender issued to cover my insurance and has resulted in not only a lapse in insurance but increased my mortgage by FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH. Yulissa had not even the slightest understanding or remorse and said I was accountable for their mistake. There was no notice sent before cancelling no call or mail sent to my home to make me aware that all this was going on. The company has refused to match the previous rate even though I have no fault in this at all. Absolutely terrible. As a consumer in this economy please save yourself time and effort and go elsewhere.
