1 /5 Sydney Kronauge: I used Misty Segars for years and had a great experience until I guess I got switched to James Norton. My car insurance has been auto-renewed and auto-paid for 4 years and they decided to non-renew me. That would be fine, except I was never notified and had a lapse of insurance against my will. James emailed me a few days before the coverage ended and said “I found some quotes that match your current insurance policy” and that is what they are claiming as my notification. Nowhere in the email does it state I was not being renewed from my current policy…. When I realized I had a lapse in insurance, James and Misty both did not help me. Now I had to get insurance directly from Progressive myself and had to pay far more in penalties due to this lapse from this company not notifying or helping me. Thank God I was not in an accident during the lapse and noticed it so I could figure this out on my own.

1 /5 Robert Waye: Extremely disappointed in this companies response rate and follow through. Ransom and associates bought a smaller agency I had happily used for years then things went south quickly. I already pulled my business insurance and gave that to another agent due to many requests for information from myself and my GM going unanswered. The winder branch says they will call you back and rarely do. I left my personal vehicle policy with them but this turned out to be a mistake. My carrier faxed Ransom and Associates a request for information about a truck I had on the policy. The Ransom agents I spoke with today admit they didnt respond to the request, admit they didnt make a single attempt to reach out to me for the information citing TWICE "we have 30 million customers and cant keep track of every request for info we get"... Due to "lack of information" my policy was then canceled and I didnt even find out about it until I got a letter in the mail from the carrier letting me know this. So now I have a lapse of insurance on my record causing my rates to nearly double. Ive never missed a payment with them, no accidents, no tickets. WHATS THE POINT OF EVEN HAVING THEM AS MY AGENT? Oh, and when I call my carrier myself I get an automated message saying I need to contact my agent directly as they are the point of contact. Whats the point of that when they dont respond to the carrier?
