5 /5 Joanna U: They did an amazing job fixing my wedding band that was previously re sized at another gable’s jeweller which left me with blisters. I was so impressed with the way they managed to fix this. I also had my engagement ring re sized there which was done perfectly. The customer service is wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be purchasing all my jewellery from them going forward.

1 /5 Kathleena OConnell: I rate this Jeweler 1 because of the level of care I received when I walked in to appraise my jewelry. The owner, who appraised my jewelry, responded sarcastically to a question which questioned my intelligence. Instead of answering the question, his comment was insulting, demeaning and crass. I mentioned he could have been more gentle with the response and he quickly turned around and said have a nice day. He’s simply not a kind man and very grumpy so I don’t recommend any business to him. On the other hand, I did have my jewelry repaired there previously and I did receive great service from their representative so that’s why they even receive a 1 star.

1 /5 Elizabeth N: Jaes does not honor problems with purchases as they blame the manufacture. My husband bought me a lovely bracelet with small diamonds all around at Jaes (one of many pieces he bought there). After a year 1 fell off and, after long discussions, they replaced it for free. Great! However, 2 months after that 1 more diamond fell off and 1 month after that, 1 more diamond fell off. My husband took the bracelet to them and they wanted to charge $200 per diamond replaced plus charge for the work. My husband was perplexed. They said that the way the diamonds are held is not the best and that is the cause of the problem... so, is NOT their problem. We feel it is their problem as they are the ones selling the jewelry. My husband is not a confrontational person, so he told them that they were wrong and left with the faulty bracelet. We rather pay another jeweler for the diamonds and work than Jaes. We have spent thousands of dollars in that store. Needless to say, we will NOT be buying anything there again. RESPONSE TO JAYs RESPONSE: I did not demand multiple repairs over the past few years nor did I air my grievances again (this is the first time). As a matter of fact, the first item my husband ever bought from you was in July 2023 (one sapphire necklace) that I exchanged for several items amounting the same cost (The necklace was about $8K and paid a difference of about $60 for the 3-4 jewelry items I replaced it with if I remember well - was a matter of taste and my husband just wanted me to use whatever I got). So we have only done business with you for the past year and a half! Before the problem with the bracelet, I asked for a delicate necklace to be repaired as the clasp broke and you did it after wanting to charge me. I complaint as it was within the year and the clasp just broke when on my neck (I almost lost the necklace but I saw it falling down)). The only item I asked after the 1 year was this bracelet and I asked twice (as I lost 1 diamond first and 2 after a month of the first one being repaired).. so dont lie and exaggerate or lie in order to make your point! You sold me a defective item (3 diamonds lost (within 3 months) in less than 1 1/2 year from purchase). The fact that your answer is to attack me and exaggerate about the facts, speaks volumes about the service I received. You are a family owned and most of the times are super nice and welcoming but your angry response speaks volumes. I did not lie nor did I exaggerate. I told facts. You are trying to make me look as someone that keeps asking and demanding for frivolous things. I have not. 4 repairs - 1 within the year. 1 paid. 2 for the same bracelet bought within 11/2 yrs and lost 3 diamonds (per your people - the diamonds fell due to the way the diamonds were held, so it is defective).
